HERO Lends a helping hand to a local recipient |
|
HERO supplies more than 1300 individual and agency requests throughout the year to provide donated durable medical equipment and unused medical supplies to those in need in our community, the region and around the world.
On a community and regional level, HERO provides medical materialsto those in need. HERO works with several agency and healthcare partners to redistribute viable medical products, saving them from area landfills.
Persons seeking medical items can call HERO at 218-284-6111 to put in their request. Items may be picked up from HERO’s warehouse 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. A small handling fee is assessed for those able to pay. The fee is waived for those with financial need.
North Dakota residents outside the Fargo area may have items shipped to a city address for a flat fee of $15 through Cross Country Courier. Call for details.
