Project HERO serves as a clearinghouse for unused healthcare supplies and durable medical equipment (DME) by providing access to much-needed healthcare materials to those in need.

HERO works with more than 105 human- and social-service agencies, non-profit organizations and public healthcare clinics locally and regionally, assisting individuals with access to affordable healthcare supplies and equipment. 

HERO also works to protect our environment by serving as a free resource to regional healthcare facilities in the effective recycling management of these materials.

HERO is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization unique in the Midwest in providing individuals with reusable medical equipment and supplies.

HERO assists individuals with medical needs locally, regionally, and internationally by supplying local medical mission teams with medical and surgical supplies to serve those in need.

HERO set a record in February 2009 by providing

145 people with healthcare supplies and equipment.
