1.28.0
August 28, 2026This release cuts the friction out of three everyday jobs: navigating deep into a facility, working out which cylinders you can act on, and getting new equipment logged.
New Features
Never Lose Your Place
FMHero now lays a trail across the top of the screen showing every step you took to get where you are, from a facility, to an asset, to its service history. Tap any step to jump straight back to it. Go deep enough and the middle of the trail tucks itself away behind a “more” chip, so the path stays readable no matter how far in you are.

Cylinder Visibility
Your cylinders now reflect what is actually yours to work with. FMHero shows only the actions you are able to take on each one, and the history you are entitled to see. You can now start a transfer without the cylinder in your hands, one your workspace owns but a teammate is holding, or one parked at a facility. Also, when a transfer comes your way, you pick which workspace and facility it lands in.
Improvements
Smoother, Steadier, Everywhere
Facility address search now opens on your own country, and you can switch to another one whenever the job takes you there. Setting your profile picture works with the front camera, so you can take it there and then. We built FMHero for Android 16, with headers and edges that sit correctly on the latest devices.
We also closed out a long list of rough edges. Refrigerant adjustments no longer let you save when nothing changed, leak repairs show the right notes and service date, pending transfers stop showing the sender’s whole batch, undated history rows read properly, and switching workspaces right after accepting an invite lands you where you expect.
Faster Nameplate Scanning
Scanning got quicker where it counts. FMHero now starts reading the nameplate the instant you take the photo, so by the time you reach the form the details are already waiting for you.
Summary
You shaped this release. We watched how you work in the field, asked what we could make faster, simpler, and more reliable, then built exactly that. Thanks for the feedback and for pushing us to keep improving. The next release brings big things — stay tuned!
